Okay, sure, but then what if someone hates X and Bluesky but loves Reddit? Or some other social media account? I'm not sure what makes Bluesky special.
it's just a site that has been increasing in popularity a lot recently specifically as an alternative to the platform called X. it shares quite a lot of similarities with X and has some underlying differences too. this article has some information about it https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8dm0ljg4y6o

some people have chosen/felt prompted to use Bluesky instead of X because of Elon Musk's involvement in the US elections (because Elon Musk owns X),
potentially as well as various other reasons too, such as
- misinformation/discriminatory posts such as racism and transphobia,
- extremist/hate content / very polarised views and atmosphere driving the platform's engagement,
- safety concerns such as over removal of the block feature and poor enforcement of the site's own regulations
- concerns about the site (as a whole) being used as an instrument for political division and impacting illegal behaviour like organised crime and harassment and cyberbullying,
- “revenue sharing” with content that gets lots of engagement (which tends to be polarising content),
- Terms of Service no longer allowing users to opt out of their posts being used to train AI

in comparison, Bluesky is at some disadvantages such as:
- has less users than X or other big social media platforms, so can be harder for users to use for finding news updates or updates from profiles they're interested in,
- it's not clear how Bluesky will end up making money as they don't profit from advertising like X has done, and don't plan on adding “traditional advertising”,
- is having issues with moderation (in part due to the rapid increase in users),
- difficulty with reach for lesser-known users who might be better known/have a previous larger following on X,
- there's some confusion about age limits / age verification leniency as there is no ID collected in the age verification process,
- claiming to be decentralised but not really being fully decentralised which is a bit confusing and the definition of decentralisation is pretty confusing in the first place

I don't know how any of these would affect Scratch, just wanted to put some information out there
